Scott Walker's (R) first temper tantrum and his first walkback as gov elect
Edited on Sat Nov-06-10 06:35 AM by HereSince1628
Among his first statements as gov. elect Walker demanded that projects associated with high-speed passenger rail linking Milwaukee and Madison be stopped. Now he has been forced to beg Talgo to remain open and walk back his demands as Talgo announces it is considering shutting down shop in Wisconsin.

Hey SCOTT!!! According to you, you were the one who knew how to get MORE jobs here, Right?

2. Walker's trying to force auto use, sort of makes a person
wonder if the guy who wanted to sell the airport, the golf courses, and the public swimming pools is looking to sell the freeways to an international that would turn them into toll roads.

6. Yes, in fact
During the campaign he mentioned designating lanes on the freeways for people who would pay a toll to be able to get there faster. Turns out that by law the existing freeway lanes can't be made tollways, so his project would involve building a new lane for the tolls. How long would that take to pay for itself?
