MSNBC got told by the R's that if they EVER wanted another elected R
on ANY MSNBC program they would have to reign in Olberman.....'Specially his new sign off..."where are the jobs speaker Boner..." or whatever it is.


At least that's my take on it.

history of conflict between Keith & Griffin, when the story broke about the contributions he did not waste any time did he, abruptly, publicly suspending him. Reeks of ass-wipe boss with ego problem. Kind of stupid, too, when you think about it.

"...there's a history of tension between Griffin and Olbermann, who told the New Yorker in 2008, "Phil thinks he’s my boss." So it's possible MSNBC was looking for an excuse to fire Olbermann."

I just thought that with the newfound tactic of refusing to deal with the press when they don't feel like it, they might think they can make threats like this.
