Grayson should have run for the Florida U.S. Senate seat
Edited on Sat Nov-06-10 06:46 PM by Ken Burch
He'd have done better than Meek, might well have won(since Grayson could have got under Rubio's skin and made him get "off message")and would have held the party vote together well enough to make the rise of the Crist Cult impossible.

I don't regret supporting Kendrick Meek(and those who refused to are still wrong)but the rise of Rubio might well have been prevented
had Alan Grayson moved up to that race.

1. Florida Senate seat isn't a move up. You mean US Senate and run against Meek in the primary?

2. Sorry. I thought the OP made it clear which race I was talking about. TItle now adjusted
And I think if Grayson had got in to that race, Meek would probably have stayed out of it. Meek was running because nobody ELSE got into the race.

3. Grayson and Kosmas broke new ground here
because it's rare to have progressive representation here in Central Florida.

In time, I think we will regain our lost ground. Voters did not realize the long term effects of the Bush economy, and they wrongly blamed it on the Dems. Guilt by association.

It's impossible to get the civilian economy to turn around in short order, the wars in SW Asia are going to continue to drag the civilian economy down and there is nothing the Rethugs can do to reverse the damage they have caused. I am guessing the worst is yet to come.
