Might the KO controversy be a gift for us...?
After Tuesday's results, those of us on the left were dispirited and demoralized. Worse, the general reaction seemed to be split between those who furiously blamed our electoral failure on the perceived failings of our President, and those who fiercely defended him to the hilt -- the classic "Democratic circular firing squad" situation.

Then, we were handed the Olbermann suspension. All at once, we had an outside "enemy" on whom to focus, and we sprang back into action, unified as before. If we get KO reinstated, it will be a powerful sign not to underestimate those of us on the left and, if not, it will remain a source of anger spurring us to further resistance.

Maybe this will all work out for the good.

2. I've always considered "liberals" to be on the ethical side
and because of that, if indeed there are conditions agreed upon and Keith ignored those conditions, there should be consequences. In the perfect world of my design, this is all orchestrated to enlighten the masses about the differences between MSNBC and FOX, hopefully, the consequence for Keith, a few unpaid days of suspension and an admission of wrong doing. but then the Joe Scabby thingy creeps up and fucks my pollyanna fantacy to oblivion.

sigh

4. You are way too nice....there's
always ulterior motives....especially in the game of politics. And you're right....Dems are too nice...and maybe there is a reason for that....so TPTB get to win. We don't fight. We don't have a spine. We just are nice. We always get to say that 'we took the high road' while our hearts/souls/minds are shoved into the dirt. That's all part of the plan.

As far as I'm concerned...nice was over in 2004 when W stole the election in Ohio.

I've been nasty ever since....plus I'm in Ohio (renamed as of 11/3/10 Dumfukmeanistan).

3. Maybe Keith wanted to kill
2 birds with one stone....a vacation and a huge round-up of the base! Brilliant.

I was thinking about this when I woke up this morning.
