3. I'm guessing other would mean staying right where he is?
It could also mean go more to the center...which is exactly where I thought he was anyway, but some may not see it that way.

4. He should protect the legislation he has already got through. Don't expect to pass any new measures

unless he can get something on immigration. It is very important that he doesn't allow the gop & teapartiers to undo wallstreet reform but especially HCR.

It is also important that they don't allow any GOP legislation through unless it is good. Just don't expect to do anything during this session. Protect the gains you've made.

7. Obama only needs to DO what's "right"
no matter what party it hurts. He should be doing what helps the voters overall.

8. Personally, I feel he needs to make a decision about 2012 first.
That will determine everything about what happens next.

10. Why should deciding to run or not determine what he does??
He was elected to do a job, to protect the American people.
If that hinges on what he decides to do for a job in 2012 or
after then he does not deserve to be president.

That is a huge problem with politicians today, always worrying about keeping their jobs.
By doing that they do nothing. If they just went out and did the job they were elected to do, no matter
which party, to do right by the people, they would have no problem keeping their jobs.

12. Asbury Park Press in NJ asked that question .... "one term president" ....
and they didn't mean his not running ---

Obama is once again playing the confused president, somehow not understanding

that 76% and more of the public wanted single payer/government run health care --

And how confused are all of we as we play this game of pretending that we don't

know that we've had a pro-corporate president handed to us . . .

disguised as a populist.

I think also the Democratic Party -- Congress -- has to decide if Obama goes on

another two years this way whether there will be anything left of the Democratic

Party to save!

And Democrats here have to be making that same decision -- !!

Maybe we need PLEDGES the next time around -- cause what we hear in campaigns

can quickly be reversed when a president hits office!!

How did Pelosi say that about Obama .... ?

Something like .... "Obama was for a lot of things when he was campaigning ....

that he is no longer for!"
