Just wanted to prove to a Thug acquaintance at work that it's probably true.

15. This was when I realized the differences between the Dems and the Repubs wasn't just political...
I learned about this not long after I got to DU. It was quite the eye-opener.

2. Wow.. there were some threads on that a long long time ago on DU
that included some of the WAPO front pages. I couldn't give the story justice as I was, at the time, learning about much of the details for the first time. Maybe someone can find those threads. Talk about your coverups, though....Sheesh. Between that and Iran Contra, Poppy Bush got quite a free ride.

4. There was a story on the front page of the Washington Post (IIRC).
There should be a scan of it somewhere in the DU archives.

6. It was called the "Franklin Affair" and
Discovery had made a video for a show. But the White House and Republicans put such pressure on them they withdrew it, remember. And for a time some parts were available on line. Some time ago I posted about it and then went to the net to try to see if I could find the video it wasn't there. I had the site bookmarked and when I clicked on to it "it said the dreaded 404 not found". So google deleted it.

And the civil suit that was filed against George W. Bush for sexual harassment and stalking by Marie Scholenster ( don't remember how to spell her name) in Texas disappeared from the record of cases filed also. They had a website, you could go to it and see a list of Civil Suits, but you couldn't see the actual suit and the wordings. I saw the listing and then I went back to it later and the whole site was taken down. Remember she was visited by four guys (secret service types she said) the beat the crap out of her husband told her she better drop the suit or the next time she would be the target. Then about a couple of months later she mysteriously committed suicide. But the never found the gun and her husband wouldn't pursue it. Every thing then went away. She was the same person that they said was his girl friend in high school. Who had a miscarriage from a beating, (person unknown) she graduated and left Texas and didn't come back til some time before she filed that harassment suit.

7. Wiki reports a lead investigator was Wellstoned, apparently.
"The 1990 grand jury report came less than two weeks after private detective Gary Caradori was killed when the small plane he was piloting broke up in flight over Illinois. Caradori was hired as lead investigator by the special Nebraska state legislative committee originally assigned to look into the child abuse allegations. Senator Loran Schmit, chairman of the legislative committee, told the Omaha World-Herald that " believed that something was going to come out of this investigation. He believed that the evidence was there to be developed and that things couldn't stay under cover forever."

8. Yeah-I remember...
But this thread contains some more jaw-droppers. The miscarriage from beating-sick freak & thats putting it mildly.

What about Roves toy-boy & part time reporter....The WH visitor books have him staying weekends IIRC.
At least he was of age.

I also remember the Bohemian Grove had a habit of using young boys in their "ceremonies".And Poppy was a member at the time.

Freaking A.. We had a golden ticket if the Democrats had enough spine to start impeachment trials for the obvious lies leading to Iraq. Pull the thread & you never know where it leads. Drugs? Child prostitution?. War profiteering?. Installing dictators then stealing any resource at hand?...

Nope-Just a bunch of wacko conspiracy theories alrighty...Walk away...

I think Mr Obama may have gotten a private viewing with the "powers that be". They let it be known if he made any moves to investigate his security might "fail". More than enough volunteers nowadays to be a lone nut job who "got lucky"...

I want my country back dagnabit!

18. yes, and it was a republican senator who stuck his neck
out to help expose the scandal. What I read that those involved (the young people) were threatened with prison if they did not retract--two refused and were put in prison.
