Murdoch Hack Inquiry Heats Up - Police Question UK Prime Minister Cameron's Communications Advisor

The former editor of News of the World—the tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch accused of hacking into the phones of royal family members in Britain—was questioned by police in London. Andy Coulson, who was at the newspaper's helm when one of his reporters was jailed for illegally accessing phone messages for Princes William and Harry, is now the top communications adviser to David Cameron, the Tory prime minister. The police investigation was revived after reporting appeared in The New York Times earlier this year. According to a Downing Street spokesman, Coulson voluntarily attended the questioning.
