Tina Fey Honored With Mark Twain Prize At Kennedy Center, Youngest-Ever Recipient
SNL's Seth Meyers worked with Fey on her Palin sketch and always enjoys it when she comes back to work on the long-running show.

"You can't learn talent," he said. "But you can learn work ethic. She's the hardest worker. She's an assassin."

Fey said before the show that the award was humbling.

"All of the other people who received this prize are heroes of mine," she said. The honor is special because it's not just from the entertainment world but the Kennedy Center and the larger performing arts world, she said.

p.s. The show will be broadcast nationally Sunday on PBS.

3. Not only the youngest
but the one with the fastest rise to that prize. Ten years ago, nobody heard of her.

Aren't there comedians out there who have worked for a few decades who might deserve consideration for the Twain prize ahead of her?

4. Like Jeff Foxworthy? Larry the Cable Guy?
I'm guessing it has something to do with creating work that's both smart AND funny... but if you'd rather give it to Carrot Top because he's logged more hours, contact the award committee.
