Energy Committee Chairman Candidate Says God Promised no More Catastrophic Climate Change after Noah
Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill.), who will seek the Energy and Commerce Committee chairmanship maintains that we do not have to worry about climate change because God promised in the Bible not to destroy the world again after Noah’s flood.

8. I seem to recall that God said he wouldn't destroy by flood...
but I don't think he said anything about not burning us to a crisp (or freezing us to death, if you're in that camp).

Alas, I can't check it for sure, as I keep no Bibles in the house.

Post-flood haShem only pledged never to wipe out everything by flood. In the stories after that, haShem showed a complete willingness to destroy people/towns by fire, earthquake and plague.
