I'm curious. Why is Geoge Soros so bad and yet the people who attack Soros...
are funded by the Koch brothers who are probably wealthier that Soros?

Tea Party is so happy happy to take financial support from the Koch brothers and then they turn around and sneer at us because we have George Soros on our side.

Something isn't right

1. The attacks on Soros are a distraction.
A way to attempt to divert from the Koch brothers, Richard Mellon Scaife, and all the one man, one group with a "grass roots" sounding name rich political ad buyers.

2. Because we've long since lost any pretense of an objective press.
What's worse is that we will never, ever, have one again.

3. RepuKKKes always noisily accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of
for some crazy reason that works for them.

4. The attacks on Soros are a set up for their argument that what the Kochs are doing is no different.
However, Soros openly funds liberal and progressive causes. To paraphrase someone quoted in the New Yorker article on them, the Kochs don't just fly under the radar, they fly underground.

The Tea Party adherents are useful idiots for the Kochs, nothing more.

9. useful idiots? Hardly. I am reminded of Sir Adams'
second space ship filled with Golgafrinchians, telephone sanitizers, hair dressers, ad execs, etc.

Useless idiots, Yeah, I'd agree.

8. because he's been so successful
When the USSR started to fall apart, he put up millions to
a) create the beginnings of a sound, practical banking system
b) invested in local arts and culture, to prevent it from being erased in a civil revolution
c) invested in training people to create internet access and teach computing skills
d) trained people to train others in basic business relations and practices.

I know, I saw with mine own eyes, just how useful, pragmatic and effective his programs were. Every single person I rubbed elbows with from Soros was open minded, smart, well trained, polite, and driven to help the local society succeed. I dare say that he single-handedly saved eastern europe from ruin after the USSR collapsed, because of all the seeds he planted, and all the training he created.

10. Defeating GWB is a matter of life and death
Didn't he come out during the runup to the 2004 election and say that "defeating GWB was a matter of life and death.." I thought that was when he began to receive all of the attention from the Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity types??
