I would like to make a proposal about this recession

In my eyes, despite how myopic I might be, I think it's about time that the blame for this depression lands squarely on the president who is really to blame for it. And that person is Ronnie Raygun.

Just imagine if supply-side economics had never been initiated, and that the excesses of the GOP were reined in early enough to be non-binding. Perhaps the country would never have gotten this far in terms of its reliance on certain foreign goods, or foreign money. And that might have been the point where we, the citizenry of the US, were able to pick ourselves up and remain at the top of the heap without selling our souls to the rich.

I'm not very good at financial matters, so if my premise is faulty, please let me know gently. I just want to stop the right wing from trying to make out that it's the fault of us poor liberals who, in our misguided manner, brought our country to the edge of an unnatural death.
