At about 20 min. into the 2nd reel It's well worth watching the entire film.

Commentators include Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore.

3. Yes, I read Being Red by Howard Fast.
At least that's the first place I think I learned this fact.

4. European Fanta and American Fanta are two very different things.
American Fanta Orange is really just a run of the mill orange pop. European Fanta Orange is much more similar to the French Orangina in that it's made of juice, carbonated water, and sugar. They also have a lemon one that is a lot like the pelligrino lemon soda.

6. I think the European one tastes less sweet as well
Haven't had one in about 10 years, but I remember noticing it was less sweet than your average soda.

7. Not quite.
http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/fanta.asp

"So where does all this leave the question of who or what invented Fanta and why? The truth is simple, even if it doesn't run trippingly off the tongue: Fanta was the creation of a German-born Coca-Cola man who was acting without direction from Atlanta. This man wasn't a Nazi, nor did he invent the drink at the direction of the Third Reich. Rather, in an effort to preserve Coca-Cola company assets and protect its people by way of keeping local plants operating, he formulated a new soft drink when it became impossible to produce the company's flagship product."
