Looks like Cantor is gearing up for THIRD war.
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/11/cantor-told-netanyahu-that-gop-will-serve-as-a-check-on-obama.php?ref=fpb

Not only that but he told Netanyahu that the House will serve as a "check" to the administration.

SNIP that really makes me fear January (I know not that everything else since NOV 2 hasn't)

Eric made clear that he believes that it is time for the administration to fully and aggressively implement the Iran Sanctions Act passed by Congress earlier this year. Further delay is not an option, and unless the Administration continues to ratchet up the pressure on the Iranian regime, the progress made by the sanctions already implemented will unravel. Now is not the time to ease off the pressure

1. Eric Cantor needs to go into the army
and into the front lines... warmonger!

On the plus side sooner or later they will have to pull the trigger on the Draft... and when they do... all those people who never fucking pay attention will... mostly out of self survival.

2. You mean
You mean when armchair patriots might have to do more than hit the button for "Fox News" on their remotes, they might rethink their position?

I'd like to think so. But, it won't be the bankers, and corps that get drafted (though since corps are people now...) and since they're the ones buying our politicians, I'd be surprised if a draft made any difference. Heck, right up until they're facing hostile fire, I bet your regular Joe Foxviewer would buy whatever propaganda the TV was feeding them. (Not to mix metaphors or anything. :) ) Because seriously, we've never seen Joe Foxviewer vote against his own interests just because Fox told him to, have we?

3. Well it will make a difference once they realize
those mosquitos do kill.

But I mean people (most of the American people) who never pay attention for a multitude of reasons, and who could care less who is who in the zoo. Wars then to focus that lack of attention.

As to the warmongers in their chairs... hubby had ONE time when he and the other person shook hands, thanked each other and walked away. They agreed to disagree.

They both had mickey mouse canoe cards.. I have yet to have that honor. Oh and they were both in civies, one was active (The guy for the war) and one was recently retired (The one against, my hubby)

:-)

4. It won't matter what cantor wants, it won't happen. For one thing most of the tea party people who
won won't support it. You also have enough progressives who won't support it, so I just don't see it happening
