Lisa Murkowski: Sarah Palin Lacks 'Leadership Qualities' & 'Intellectual Curiosity' To Be President

Republican U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski says she doesn't think Sarah Palin has the leadership qualities to be president, nor the "intellectual curiosity" needed to make good policy.

Murkowski shared her take on the matter during an appearance on Monday's edition of "CBS Evening News" with Katie Couric.

"I just do not think that she has those leadership qualities, that intellectual curiosity that allows for building good and great policies," explained the incumbent lawmaker when asked about a previous suggestion she's made that she wouldn't support Palin for president. "You know, she was my governor for two years. And I don't think that she enjoyed governing."

Elaborating on her view, Murkowski continued, "I want somebody that goes to bed at night and wakes up in the morning thinking about how we're going to deal with our national security issues, how we're going to deal with our economy, how we're going to deal with providing better education or peace in the Middle East."

An e-mail sent Monday from The Associated Press to Palin's media team wasn't immediately returned.

14. Quayle and W were terrible, but Palin would be even worse - she has no idea
what she was doing other than shooting off her mouth and trying to make as much money as possible with the least effort, which she seems to have done rather well.

2. The knives are out for Palin
And now that Murkowski looks to be part of the "establishment", she's been picked to fire the first shots.

3. Translation:
Sarah Palin doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. Her horrendous stupidity is only overshadowed by her rampant Narcissism.

Come on Ms. Murkowski, don't be so diplomatic. It's ok to tell it like it is.

4. Murkowski must believe she's won the vote. She wouldn't have made such
pronouncements from a vanquished standpoint.

5. The More Someone Says She's "Unqualified" The More The WIngnuts Love Her
It doesn't matter that a vast majority of Americans laugh at this rolling circus for a myriad of reasons, Grifterella's game is to play the victim and any attack on her is always defended by her unhinged following. To these people her lack of knowledge is her charm...she's "just like them". She's the example of poor education that these shitstains feel is a good thing (they hate anyone smarter than they are) and her word salad feels so good cause they are as messed up as she is.

If qualifications were the game here, Gramps McCain would have never selected her. Instead he went for the titilation...and the corporate media can't get enough of it.

13. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day

I'm starting to find new found respect for Ms Murkowski. Still would never support or vote for her but she's ok in my book.
