The Hater Party
November 14, 2010

“Unemployed workers are lazy welfare queens,” said Sharon Angle, losing candidate for Senate in Nevada under the Tea Party, in one of her many speeches laced with vitriol and hate for families living in poverty in the U.S.

From New York to California, from Sharon Angle to Meg Whitman, the running theme of hundreds of political campaigns supported by the so-called Tea Party and their Republican counterparts is hate. Hate for us poor mamas, poor people of color, poor families and immigrants.

“I will end the welfare system as we know it and I will crack down on sanctuary cities for immigrants,” said Meg Whitman, a billionaire Republican who lost her race for governor of California. She and others built their campaigns on a perceived baseline of racist and classist hate that exists in the U.S. for poor folks, immigrants and people of color, which, even if this perceived hate isn’t actually there, is fueled by a constant stream of disinformation and lies that rolls, unchecked, through U.S. corporate-owned media and out of the mouths of corporate politicians.

“Instead of handing out welfare checks, we’ll teach people how to earn their check. We’ll teach them personal hygiene.” In New York, the Tea Party fielded Carl Paladino, another losing candidate for governor, who ran on a platform riddled with myths and lies about poor families and the measly subsidies we get.

2. I made a post prior to the election
that i've seen no evidence of the democrats trying to fight for their positions as over and over again the rethugs were casting adds all over the airwaves. It was as if they wanted to lose...and now we are in a worst mess than we've ever been before. Its hard to believe that these idiots let this country sink to a new low by putting back the assholes that started it in the first place. "HELL IS BACK IN AMERICA AGAIN"!!!!!!!!!! Great job rethugs..hope you tea partiers like the ride you are going to take.

4. Misdirected Anger...
We're all feeling the affects of this shitty economy. I'll spare the blame game cause too many don't care anymore...it's how much longer will this go on and how will things get better. Since the worst of this mess hit since President Obama has been in office and throughout the entire time of Democratic control of both houses, voter anger in their direction should have been expected. If this election shows that people vote by their pocketbook this was the one and no matter what words are said about how things are gonna get better, too many voters felt the pain deeply enough either to stay home or vote for "change" that is a charade for those who created this mess in the first place.

We live in a quick turn-around society. People want quick answers and results...not words or nuance. They also want to see strong leadership which has sorely been lacking from many Democrats. Unfortunately there are no quick fixes to 30 years of economic erosion and the Democrats have now all but bought the boooosh messes.

5. The last thing we need to do is to try to educate these morans.
Their willfull ignorance and naked hatred is their own worst enemy.

In my own dealings with these people (unfortunately, mostly family members), I have begun to provide amplified, positive feedback to their extreme views on every subject from our Manchurian Candidate President and his suspicious origins, to the Muslin takeover of 'murka, out crazying and reinforcing every single ignorant talking point.

Give it a shot. It's a hoot and you won't be angry anymore.

6. Well since Carl Paladino is speaking hygiene......
Then he should be constantly using mouthwash and brushing his teeth, because its always some shit flying out his mouth. That makes for bad breath for sure.

I just waiting to see how long it will take before they come together instead of giving up in defeat!!!
