TSA has not, will not and our Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) cannot store images of passengers

The Drudge report recently linked to this article with the very misleading headline: “TSAXXX: Naked Body Scans Leak Online” This is about the US Marshal Service (NOT Federal Air Marshal Service) storing Advanced Imaging Technology images at a Florida courthouse checkpoint (Not a TSA checkpoint). This has led many to ask if TSA is doing the same. As we’ve stated from the beginning, TSA has not, will not and the machines cannot store images of passengers at airports. The equipment sent by the manufacturer to airports cannot store, transmit or print images and operators at airports do not have the capability to activate any such function. You can read our blog post on this subject from earlier this summer. Or you can read the US Marshals Service Press Release on this matter.

1. Sorry. Don't believe you.
You mean to tell me if there was a major security breach, they don't have the ability to go back and review why they failed?

Bullfeathers.

2. There have already been violations that prove this a lie...
There was a story re: training violations where employees kept images of each other for later ridicule..

4. From your link: those are not the scans you're looking for
"The website Gizmodo has published 100 pictures of body scans taken at an Orlando Federal Courthouse. The scans are not from the "naked scan" machines that the Department of Homeland Security announced were going into 28 airports in the country, earlier this year. Instead, they are much more pixelated and less embarrassing."

5. Sorry, wrong,
Having worked with similar machines earlier this century, I can tell you that these machines not only have a computer, complete with hard drive storage capability, but also UBS and other connections that allow one to download whatever is in the memory, including images. Hell, it might even be using the Windows operating system, the machines I worked with did.
