Ms Murkowski and I may not be aligned with the same parties but I can appreciate the fact that we both pretty much have the same opinion about Palin.

Think about it - Palin can't even endorse a candidate that can win in Alaska, her home state. Her choice for US Senate lost to a write-in candidate.

3. The enemy of my enemy
is not necessarily my friend.

Still, it will be fun to watch the Alaska catfight. Maybe they're wrestle themselves into a fountain on the Carrington estate.

4. A bittersweet victory, at best.

Yes, a thumb in the eye to Sarah, but one that guarantees the feud will continue. And I have little doubt that Lisa will vote just as Joe Miller would have.

A far better result would have been a Scott McAdams victory -- get rid of the Murkowskis once and for all AND deny Sarah her win.

Now I fear we'll be stuck with Senator Murkowski for life -- after we've already had 30 years of a Murkowski holding that seat. Enough is enough.

6. Yay, another Republican in the Senate
In the long run, six of one and half a dozen of the other. But at least Lady Blah Blah can't beat Murkowski over the head with this.

7. There was going to be another R no matter what
At least we got the one that stuck her thumb in Caribou Barbie's eye, instead of the even worse one CB was backing.
