They didn't come for the guns, and yet, it's strangely quiet where gun freedoms trump all. I think without the President's knowledge, the leftover moles from the Booshe years are getting their revenge on us.

Next they will be telling you what you can and can't do when you aren't working.

OOPS, thy do that now.

We are fucked.

3. Yes, I could take a long boat ride to that international conference but I'd lose my job.
I suppose immigrants should boat here.
People who need to fly for surgery unavailable in their area: take that cross-country drive after surgery, or fork out a grand for hotels.
When visiting one's family over the holidays, make sure you can take an extra week off for car travel. Take the kids out of school. Etc.

4. Untrue -- most intercity passenger rail travel is gone; likewise intercity bus.
And not only cannot we drive everywhere we need to go, that would be environmentally more-irresponsible even than flying.

5. Taking off shoes was a test. Now we're into real life as we will know it from now on.

6. Don't worry. No matter what they take next we will be told by the blindly
following authoritarians that it 'isn't a big deal', that 'we have a choice', that 'liberties aren't actually be taken' and that 'it is for the greater good'. And, those authoritarians will manifest themselves as Repubs and Democrats.

8. TSA will fan out to Bus.. rail.. ship... and all means of travel...
..It's all about control of the American Public.

Anytime you throw unlimited money and authority at a police agency with no controls.. this is what you get.

The American people are very foolish if they think this will end well.

10. What's next? How about pat downs to enter a grocery store?
or shopping mall?
School?
Your place of work?

I was honestly thinking about that this am standing in line at the grocery store, which was crowded, this being
A. Friday ( payday)
and
B. Friday before Thanksgiving.

so, it was crowded, the parking lot was full, and the thought arose: when are they gonna start pats downs at the door?

Which led to the thought:

just as soon as they decide to, there will be a "terror scare" at a mall, or store, and DHS will get more money to hire more
gropers to cover more public places.
