I think unrec is like pins in the vodoo doll - for example

every time a democrat unrecs a post expressing outrage at TSA genital testing, 1000 more democrats decide to drop out.

Or when someone unrecs a post expressing outrage at jobs to India or war or health care or torture or oil spills or wall street bailouts, another 1000 democrats drop out for each one that is unrec'd.

That's how the unrec feature works. It's indirectly purifying the democratic party in the image of the unrec'ers.

Voodoo? Not necessarily. It's a perfect mirror of what we have seen and will continue to see at the polls. This is because there is correlative statistics and behavioral science behind the actions. Deny representation and they'll drop out. So what you see now is the squeakiest, cleanest, purest democratic party ever. A virtual monoculture of ideas and actions. So shiny, it positively sparkles with purity.

So, you love your country - let TSA love you back a little more. Unrec some outrage over TSA. Take one for the team!
