You suppose there is talk of a deal going on before sentencing? Or, are they going to let Delay be put away quietly to avoid the "problems"? You have to wonder for all the "good" work he did for Bu$hCo, did they let him in on any inside info that he could use now? Or, was he just an expendable bag man?

Just a hint at how expendable he was, he should have demanded a trial when Bush was in office, except there was the best possibility that Bush and Cheney would not have stepped in. Now anybody know if a President can pardon a sentence imposed by a state?

Inquiring minds, ya'know.

... but a Governor, specifically Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) could.

Rick Perry could change that.
