A comment on US News Readers
some of you might be aware of ... this little matter in the Korean Peninsula. So here is how hubby learned about it.

He was beta testing a video game and play testers are from all over the world.

So as the artillery barrage started... people in Europe and Asia told other players, hey this is what is going on... N. Korea has just opened fire on S. Korea.

So a fictional tank battle came to a full stop, and everybody went on to check news. Fox, covering a jaw bone found in breaking news. MSNBC is on a loop and CNN is on usual programing. WW III might be braking, but don't bother US News.

This is precisely ONE of the problems we have...

I am now doing the usual, troll foreign press.

Yes, our media truly SUCKS ass.

Is my go to for news...

US News has always been US-centric...I had relatives all over the world, so I need to keep out with what is going on outside the country..

3. Yep same for me
hubby and I usually do that... but it was a TELLING MOMENT.

They also used to be less US Centric... they've gotten really bad. To the point of the iron wall being around the US.

2. Nadezhda, you know if they wanted war with North Korea they'd be telling us.
The pity is, not enough of the nation knows the rest of the time they're also lying on behalf of empire.

4. Nobody wants that war, except I think N.Korea
but that is just my opinion. And yes, the last time a fourth tier power sent the rest of the world to a world war, it was all them interlocking alliances... August of 1914... by the end a few empires were done, and that small state disappeared for a while.
