Tweety: Palin Is Like Bill Clinton "when it comes to being a natural," having "moxie" (VIDEO)

Chris Matthews made a surprising comparison between Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin on his Sunday show. After a segment in which he and his guests discussed what a 2012 presidential run by Palin might look like, Matthews said that both she and Clinton were natural politicians with the grit to weather big political storms — and that both had a combative relationship with the press:

"There's one unlikely Democrat you might compare to Sarah Palin when it comes to being a natural: the generally incomparable Bill Clinton. One clear similarity: moxie. While some mortals might have gone away after that humiliating pounding that Sarah Palin took in 2008, she's been something of a comeback kid herself...during this last campaign, it was Bill Clinton who was the Democrats' counter to Sarah Palin."

6. HEY! She made it through community college in only 8 years. Give her a break.
Actually, I don't know her real stats, but I know Rhodes Scholar isn't in there.

4. Except that Clinton is actually a smart guy
and he was the President and he had ideas not just rhetoric and he was constantly getting bashed in the press and...ah never mind. You get the idea. Matthews doesn't or so it seems.

7. Viewed in a certain way, if you squint your eyes ju-u-u-u-st right
And you only catch a fleeting glimpse while a strobe light is flashing in the dead of night and with the proper application of copious amounts of alcohol and other mind-altering subtances, then, yes, Sarah Palin is like Bill Clinton. They're both carbon-based life forms.

8. Capt. Superficial nails the center of shallow once again...Tweety's use of a national platform is
getting tired. Jon Stewart needs to confront him like he confronted Tucker Carlson.
Politics is just a games and showmanship to Tweety and he enjoys being part of the 'show.'
