The Simpsons mocks Fox News again: ‘Unsuitable for viewers under 75

The Simpsons mocks Fox News again: Unsuitable for viewers under 75For the second week in a row, the popular cartoon "The Simpsons" mocked the Fox News Channel, implying those under the age of 75 should not watch the channel.

The show, which is broadcast by Fox Broadcasting, flaunted a Fox News helicopter inscribed with a fictional slogan, "Fox News: Unsuitable For Viewers Under 75" during the opening scene.

News Corporation owns the Fox Broadcast network as well as Fox News Channel.

It was the only reference to Fox News in the entire episode.

1. Fox (Murdoch) knows his "news" is bullshit, but as long as the morons continue to
watch and act on the propaganda they are fed, everything is wonderful in Robert-land.

2. AND it is shows like "The Simpsons" that make the money that Murdoch uses to fund FAUX NOISE so
there is no way he is going to mess with success..

Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel threatened to sue the makers of the Simpsons over a spoof news ticker, the show's creator Matt Groening has claimed.

Mr Groening said Fox News raised the unlikely prospect of suing a show broadcast by its sister channel, Fox Entertainment, because it wanted to stop the Simpsons parodying its famously anti-Democratic party agenda.

The alleged row centred on a parody of Fox News' rolling news ticker, which included headlines such as "Do Democrats cause cancer?"

Mr Groening said the news channel backed down because it would have caused Fox to bring a lawsuit against itself.
