****Heads Up Live Q&A with Julian Assange On The Guardian's Site @ 1PM GMT/ 8AM EST****
Edited on Fri Dec-03-10 07:05 AM by Turborama

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is at the centre of intense media speculation and a hate campaign against him in America, following the leak of 250,000 US diplomatic cables.

He will be live online to answer Guardian readers' questions at 1pm today, subject to his access to an internet connection - which is very much a live issue. His online interview comes at the end of a week of shocking revelations from the cables and on a day when WikiLeaks has been fighting US attempts to take its website down.

Assange will answer your questions in the comments section below. From 1pm you will need to navigate to the latest comments for his replies: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/blog/2010/dec/03/wikileaks-julian-assange-online

14. upcoming cablegate leaks: UFOs !!!

Quote:
achanth
Mr Assange,
have there ever been documents forwarded to you which deal with the topic of UFOs or extraterrestrials?

Julian Assange:
Many weirdos email us about UFOs or how they discovered that they were the anti-christ whilst talking with their ex-wife at a garden party over a pot-plant. However, as yet they have not satisfied two of our publishing rules.
1) that the documents not be self-authored;
2) that they be original.

However, it is worth noting that in yet-to-be-published parts of the cablegate archive there are indeed references to UFOs.

(holy snap!)

I look forward to reading what they say.

I haven't got time to go through it now, but it's good to know there are some answers popping up.

8. the grumblers should remember that many people that work wet and are funded OTB
are trying to kill him

They can roll back over and go back to sleep, all the while "missing" the news of the latest drone attacks that were perpetrated to "keep them safe"
