4. Me too, but maybe that's because my food is poisonous, and soil drenched in oil
I guess you have to be here to believe it since the national news (and even the local news) is no longer covering the destruction of our environment here in S. Louisiana.

I guess the rest of America has already forgotten or just doesn't give a flying fuck.

13. I went over Prince William Sound when I was 11
The water was like an oily rainbow.

It was one of many moments that cemented my environmentalist core.

3. There needs to be a "less than F" option for BP's bestest spokesperson.
Just sayin'.

9. I am very unhappy with his decision
to allow oil exploration offshore in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas, an extremely delicate ecosystem where a spill could almost certainly not be contained under ice.

Unfortunately the environment, and energy, doesn't hinge on the actions of one human being. While yes it would've been nice if Obama could've changed the narrative back when health care was an issue, and move it toward climate change, such an event was unlikely given the cold spells around the world. In many ways Bush's policies sabotaged climate action for a good decade or two, by causing a deep recession we will put off even considering climate change until after the world recovers.

19. Personal Responsibility
I give the American public a F- for not paying attention until
BP. Elected officials trying to change the deregulation we
all knew about starting with Reagan's trickle down theory and
culminating with Cheney's secret meetings, just what did you
think this atmosphere was leading to? In the words of Spike
Lee, "WAAKKEE UUUPPP!":wtf:

22. It was C level policy, but the timing of the resumption of offshore drilling and then the spill...
made for F level politics.

23. Even though I can think of a few things I'd give him a B or C in,
the environment is NOT one of them. President Obama's moves regarding the environment is one of those where I honestly think he deserves an F. The Alaskan Barbie Governor probably wouldn't do it that much different, sadly. That speaks volumes.

F, most definitely F.
