Okay Peeps

I am going to have a nice weekend with my family and here is hoping all of you a safe wonderful weekend too. I would like to thank the Veterans for their service on this Memorial Day.

Most importantly, I know you are all really pissed off about this week and I empathize with both sides.

Without belittling anyone's feelings this internal bickering we are having reminds me of a time in the family station wagon on vacation with no air conditioning in the southwest summer heat.

I couldn't stand my brother as he would try touch me or breathe on me or some other annoying habit like creep his body over my space in backseat. We would fight and bicker, bitch and complain until a parental hand flew over the seat in an attempt to grab an arm or a leg to break up the war.

It was only then when we faced the a threat together that we helped one another dodge the hand and for a brief moment there was a peace treaty within our ranks. ;)
