Personally, I want the President to protect what we have already fought for...
...Moreso than passing anything else on his agenda.

The Republicans mean to destroy him, all social programs, the New Deal, and the Democratic Party. I fear we are falling into their trap.

When people say, "I don't care....I want my tax cut", then we are in deep shit folks.

I don't want the President to help the Republicans tear down Social Security, the greatest safety net of our lifetimes. But, with the payroll tax holiday, that is shortening the lifetime of Social Security. Do not be deceived.

We cannot continue to borrow trillions of dollars. Some folks may think it is possible but it is not. Without taxes to pay off these huge deficits, we are going to lose everything we have fought for - for generations.

I want the President to protect what we have rather than to fight for his agenda and his re-election. I could give a damn about whether he is elected or not if he puts his own agenda above the peoples interests.

We need to fight the Republicans about taking care of our unemployed. We can't surrender so easily. We need to take it to the people. These fuckers are ready to throw these folks out on the street. And they are not all Democrats. Half of them are frigging conservatives. We cannot run from the fight.

4. Sadly, he seems pretty hostile to much of the New Deal.
It's not a popular thing to say around here, but it becomes more clear every day that Obama's worldview is essentially that of a Reaganite.

6. It's his commission leaders who want to "tear down Social Security"...
He's all about "his agenda and his re-election" - and his agenda ain't ours, probably never was.

I'm with you, and thankfully some Congressional Dems are too.

7. Shock and Awe
comes home to roost, for good. Thank Uncle Miltie for his economic neutron bomb. You may have thought it was just the name of that big operation on Irag, but it has its origin in Chicago. The meaning is in what you see now.

The Owner's may simply be wiping the playing board so that they can overtly posses the spoils on their land in their countries.

NOLA and Detroit could be considered some of the illustrative templates.
