1. They'll never pass it exactly in this form ....
they'll be some changes but fear that essentially the full damage

of what Obama did in this latest in his series of back room deals

with the right wing will go thru, eventually -- !!

PS: I've been calling, etal -- and will try again on Monday.

6. Only Bernie - not a Democrat - is all that stood between us and Obama's
back room deals with the Republicans -- !!

Granted, the Progressive Caucus is against it -- but they didn't filibuster

nor offer to do so ... how many of them are there ... how many filibusters

could they run until we ran out of time?

Anyway -- ironicially, what Democratic voters mainly have going for them is

BERNIE SANDERS!!!

3. I emailed both my Senators and my Rep

But I will call them too.

It won't do any good with Joe Manchin though. He just voted against extension for $250K and below, then for extension for $1M and below. He said during the campaign that he was in favor of extending all of the Bush tax cuts.

4. A cloture vote is scheduled for Monday.
We need 40 senators to vote no. But even if it passes Senate, it still has to pass the House.
So call both your senators and your house rep.

The GOP will punish us if we lat the tax cuts die but it's worth it. You don't win fights when you're afraid of getting a black eye.

Make those calls!

7. If every member of the Progressive Caucus filibustered ....
can they? -- we'd probably run out of time in this term to bring this up --

Then what might happen?

5. I faxed Bernie today, about the Big Shot Billionaire Tax Cuts, saying
Giving these Billionaires and Millionaires their tax cuts was a major cause of this Great Recession and our budget surplus turning into deep deficit; they took their extra money in search of higher returns,
exporting jobs and dollars, all the while creating bubbles in our economy - - the debt bubble, the Wall Street bubbles, the housing bubble and the bubbles in secret propaganda pumping campaign money.

They don’t want to pay taxes yet they haven’t paid less than any time in the past 60 years, times when this nation was strong and prosperous.

8. Great point .....
Was listening to someone on WBAI/Irish show today --

12.5% cuts in minimum wage --

can't recall all he was listing at this moment -- but it's horrific

and corporations there are paying 12.5% taxes on earnings!!!

They've got to reverse that pyramid!!
