Keep the pressure on,
Bernie Sanders pointed out, correctly, that it requires the pressure that we the people can put on our leaders in order to negate the Obama faceplant.

Take the opportunity today to write your representatives, even if you've already done so. Write representatives from other states. Write the White House and let your opinion be known. If we're going to save ourselves from Obama's bad deal, then it requires all of us to participate.

Don't forget to get your friends and family in on the deal. Whatever networks you have from the anti-war movement or other local movements, activate them and get them going.

Don't forget, burn up the phone lines to DC tomorrow. We have got to show Obama that his deal is not wanted, that we want a better deal.

Have a good weekend, me, I'm enjoying the snow and keeping busy inside. Writing my reps and getting friends and family active. Oh, one other thing, if you've got RW conservative friends or family, feel them out, see if they like the Obama plan. If they're like my RW family members, they probably don't, granted, for different reasons. That doesn't matter though, if they are against the compromise, have them write or call as well. Bipartisan opposition is helpful when it comes to this administration.

But get busy, we can beat this thing.

2. I question the efficacy of calls and emails, but I can't wait till DoJ goes after WikiL
I'm not one of them (You listening Agent Mike), but I can't wait till the Feds evoke the wrath of Anon and Operation Payback.

Unlike phone calls which go unanswered or emails that get spam filtered out before they reach their destination, meaningless petitions, and the other tools of the Slactivists, the HACKTIVISTS will make noise and get more reaction....and be more fun to watch from the outside.

But if you are a Congress-Caller, dont let me dissuade you but possibly encourage you to do more. Post a handbill, or do something that more people will see.

4. Phone calls and letters are some of the most effacious of contacting your reps.
If you're willing to pay for contacting your rep, then it is noted, and counts quite a bit. Even emails, when dealing with such hotly contested issues as this one, are noted and have effect.
