You know the JFK video where the Secret Service are "waved off"?
A few questions if anybody knows the answer. My brother is going to show that to the high school class he teaches and needs to know these things before he does. Where did that video come from? Who shot it? When did it first make an appearance on the web for I nor him had ever seen it before. Was it released governemnt fotage? If so when was it released?

2. The footage came
from an amateur photographer named George Jefferies. He had never thought the footage was important. He donated it to a museum. I believe the footage was released in February of this year.

The so called "wave off" happened at the airport when the motorcade was just pulling out. One agent is directing some other agents what cars to get to before they speed up. The narrator implies that the agents were "waving off" each other off to allow the assassin a clear shot. Looks lame to me as they hadn't left the airport yet.

4. If I were head of the Secret Service, I would've had my own shooters in the book depository windows
There should've been no way that anybody could look down on the president's motorcade if I had my say on it. Every room that gives such a view should've been vacated and guarded by local police and Secret Service or at least watched by my own spotters and sharpshooters in case somebody who was a threat needed to be picked off.

5. FWIW: Technically, if the video shows the murder, it's a snuff film.
I know; I know; history and all that.

But it's nonetheless a real murder on film. So maybe the students' parents should be informed? (I say this as a retired h.s. teacher.)

6. He isnt talking about the Zapruder film.
The film in question is by a different guy taken at the airport. It does not include any part of Dealy Plaza.
