A few examples of stuff I have done..
Here is an Egyptian headress called a Neymess.I made it from scratch, meaning I made the pattern and constructed the inner wire form and all too, the snake attached to it is made of sculpy and crystals.. the cat I'm holding is my furbabe Rustle.

My leather snake

A project for a freind..

A mural I did for Hearts and Ears

A mask of paper mache.Someone gave me all this raffia I had no idea what to do with it so I made a lion out of it

A bast statue I painted

A 4 wall surround mural I did in my old house that made the livingroom into a forest at sunset Later added fake trees and vines..

And here is my nephew being the easter queen with an obnoxious easter crown I made the scepter is a cat toy featherduster!!

1. looks like russel is taking dibs on the headdress!
i can't blame him - it's amazing. the lion mask is great, too.

i just put down my afghan for a little while. now i think i should run back to the living room and crochet a few more rows. you're an inspiration.

3. Newspaper & wheat paste
as the bottom layers and the surface is done with papercete. It's the ground up paper that is grey comes in a bag and you mix it with warm water for instant clay like mache. You can get it at ac moores, joanns michaels. I painted it with tube acrylics there is a brand forget the name that has an INTENSE day glo line.= pink if layred is insanely bright. The mask is accented in pink purple and orange, I dunno if it shows up well in the photo, it's colors like the raffia colors.I also used glitters, in hot pink , orange iridesent, purple and black..
