I rode a motorcycle for the first time today..

and scored 100% on the written test.

Tomorrow, will be the riding test.

I hope I do as well!!

I passed the driving part!! Yay!!! I must admit, I was
beginning to wonder, for awhile, if I'd master the figure 8
in time for the skills test. But somehow I did it, just
when I had to. I need A LOT of practice! ;-)

Do you have a bike already or are you planning on buying one?

Hopefully, by the end of the week, while what I learned is still fresh in my mind, I'll find the right starter bike!

Skills are a lifelong learning process, I still practice them in parking lots whenever I can.

When I first took my test I was told I failed. I had passed the written test but failed the driving part. About a Month later the state sent me a notice that I had passed the test.... I did NOT object....

I suspect the Driver tester confused me with the person in front of me, the previous rider had passed the test, I had failed the driving test (Lack of Practice AND a bike with the turn signals NOT working did not help). I do not know if the driver tester marked my test "Passed" and the other person "Failed" by mistake OR the Driver Tester took the safe way out, marked both "Passed" (And there is the possibility that the Driver Tester decided I did pass the test upon further review, an unlikely scenario but possible).

I am a better rider then I was when I took my test 30 years ago, but the story of HOW I passed the test still gets a giggle or two. Just a comment, that they are riders whose "tests" results are worse then yours. Practice is the key. Some of those riders who failed the test are better then you, some who passed are NOT. Just be careful and wear a helmet just in case you are in an accident.
