Anyone found an effective way to cure "Sick Glass"?

I just dug up an old box of stuff from the attic and had forgotten about a small cruet set that I gave up on many years ago. The salt and pepper shakers have sterling tops but the glass bodies are sick. I vaguely remember trying some things like CLR, shaking rice and soapy water and probably other procedures. Anything new that you know about? I'd love to put this set in the dining room but it does not look very nice with the glass so cloudy.

2. I'd start with CLR or LimeAway

Maybe some nice sand to help with a little abrasion when ya swirl the liquid.

Or just soak it a few days, completely submerged.

3. Finish off with rubbing alcohol

I'd start with ammonia and vinegar, maybe some salt. Let it soak for a few days. If that doesn't do it, then on to the chemicals.

When you get it cleaned up, the rubbing alcohol adds a beautiful shine.

4. you have to send it to a professional polisher. If it's a nice bottle, it can be done for fairly

reasonable rates.
