Any luck this weekend?

I promised myself that first I'd try to get some of my stuff organized (lol).

A few weeks back, hubby went up to a sports card shop and got some archival plastic bags for magazines. They turned out to be too small for his needs. But I've got an old stash of Little Lulu comics, most I bought back in the 1960s. Backstory - The uncle of a friend had a tiny comic shop in Brooklyn. We paid him a visit after school one day and I got most of my current stash from that shop. The other day I got busy and cataloged the issues in a Word document and am putting them into the magazine holders and labeling them on the outside. I see LL's go up for sale on ebay and always hold back so I don't duplicate. Now I'm organized and can look for fill ins. :)

I promised myself that the only time I'd hit the thrift shop is if I get that "must go" feeling because I always find something special. And that burning finger hasn't touched the back of my neck lately. So far, so good!

They must not be getting as much from people who hold tag sales and then donate what doesn't sell. Maybe there isn't much left these days like there used to be.

Reminds me of when we had flea markets here and we used to before sunup to get first crack at fresh meat.

eBay has pretty much killed the fleas around here.

8-10 west coast, and after that is an auction show that I'm watching now.

I liked the flea market show. I like the way he teaches viewers about technique specific to flea marketing. I wanna be out there.

Darn it.
