Hubley toy guns
I brought them to work as part of my Halloween costume - didn't get to dress up, though, due to work deadlines. But showed the guns to my boss who said they are probably worth quite a bit. I have a couple of revolvers and an automatic probably from the 1950's. Made in USA. Anyone have any experience with this type of item ?

4. I wonder what the difference is.
ebay puzzles me sometimes. The other day I looked up a camera I had found and one went for $250 and others were going for $35.

5. I think the lot of three are replicas
Real 50s-vintage (like I had as a kid) Hubley toy guns don't have the federally mandated orange barrel plugs. Neither did the later versions of the same Hubley guns that my kids had if the early 80s.

7. We were just talking about toy guns here at the house the other night
When I was a kid in the early 50s I had a cowgirl outfit, a holster and a cap gun. I loved it. Who knows what brand the guns were. I don't think the folks would have gotten anything too pricey. But I played with the gun(s) for years since I liked playing with caps.

There's a great book about toy guns - just an fyi. One of my favorites for purusing. The values are from several years ago but he sure has great photos for identifying.

A pretty good site for surfing where they buy and sell
