DU is too stressful in GD.....I go to E-Bay for diversion.

I just might spend up to $600 dollars this weekend on E-Bay just because I can't tolerate DU infighting for too long but won't stay away either.

In-between.......I shop E-Bay, follow my bids.....search a little, back to DU...cycle.

I've got some charging cables etc accessories for my PDA thing-a- ma-jig, Samsung i760... which I use to keep up on DU and E-Bay.......... :scared: :shrug:

Anyone else have use E-Bay as your stress release coping mechanism?

DU is easier on my pocketbook. ;) But I miss the rumble of the UPS truck coming up my driveway. :D

But I don't buy much on eBay. I just cruise it to watch values, to learn about certain niches, and to see what friends are selling on their lists. I'd like to buy, sometimes, but I know that I can find an item cheaper at an estate sale down the road.

I just can't seem to coordinate the time to go lately. Lot's of local political activities these days. Ohio is well invested in turning America Blue.

That's a reason I got the PDA thing.........I can be online anywhere...anytime.

Well, now I got 3 Vera Bradley bags so far today! The girls have their birthdays coming up, Brook in February and Emily in March....so, I'm off to a good start is the way I see it.

Sometimes, I find really good deals on Democratic memorabilia and/or collect ables. I use them as fundraiser items to use at raffles or Silent Auctions.

the fighting going on in GD. The weekend seems to bring them all out with swords drawn. We are all entitled to have our opinions but it still surprises me how many people over there think otherwise.
Sometimes you just need to get away from it all.

I don't do too much shopping on e-bay but I do check out www.shopgoodwill.com often. Have had good luck there.

Easy to use, less widely known so a little less competition.
