I'm not going anywhere - dammit!
I am going to stay right here and post what wonderful things Biden did each day. Instead of Gd-p, I'll just post them here.

When Biden is on C-Span giving a speech, I'm going to post it here.

I am going to work out my feelings about the other candidates right here with all of you.

You guys have become part of my day, and I still want to talk to you.

No, I won't be sitting on the computer all day like I used to, but I will check in daily - or whenever I can.

The John Kerry group is still going strong - and we will too.

There is a strong bond here, let's keep it going. :)

3. Thanks, pirhana.
I appreciate the sentiment, and I may stop by, too.

But I'm both exhausted and very upset, having supported 2 outstanding men and seen them both slammed by the media and the American people.

Goodnight, all.

Ellen

6. I could have handled a loss
but this was so devastating - 1%? I would never have dreamt it would have been such a big loss, so quickly.

34. I feel the same way
I was hoping for Gore, initially.

What is wrong with this country?! Doesn't experience matter for anything anymore?

I am so mad at the media I could scream. I am so mad at people who get taken in by the M$M.

I'm angry about a lot of things right now.

7. Yay!
I agree.
It is going to get even worse out there now.
I used to go to gd-p just to look for the Biden posts, and then leave quickly.
I have no reason to go there now.

22. I know it's just awful on the general boards
Some people go to the lounge to relax, I come to the Joe Biden board. I think all Biden supporters are nice people and I think we pretty much agree on what the country needs.

There was some jerk a couple of days ago dissing Biden people for dissing their candidate. I can't remember any Biden people really dissing another candidate. I'm not here all the time...so maybe it happened, but I haven't seen it.

5. There is a strong bond
and I hope we can get it intact. I guess now we can all catch up on all things we've neglected for so long, like the dust bunnies under our computer desks!

I know this will pass, but right now it feels absolutely awful.

I have become consumed by this over the past few months. I've been here from the time I roll out of bed in the afternoon (:7) until the wee hours of the morning. You've become my family :grouphug:

I'll be here, too! :hi:

13. Me, too! I remember how depressed I got when Kerry was kicked off the POTUS.
I didn't have anyone to talk to then. The only bright spot in all of this is how proud I am that my kids and grandkids, plus their spouses, went to the caucus to please me. I love those guys. They kept teasing me about my kiss from Joe...must have been one heck of a kiss for you to work so hard for him. But, they came thru for me and that takes the sting out...kind of.

Count me in, if you'll still accept me...being from Iowa, and all.

26. I'm not going anywhere because I have hopes that Joe....
will have a significant role in the new Democratic administration!

Whoever gets the nomination would be a fool not to take advantage of the knowledge and common sense that Joe Biden has to offer.

28. What a lot of people don't realize is that Joe has had
a significant role in numerous administrations, but he is usually behind the scenes. Clinton relied on him a lot and was the reason that Clinton intervened in Bosnia. His voice will always be there, but we may not always know it.

32. OK....First, I'll admit that I've nursed my sorrow in a couple....
of glasses of wine.

Taking that into account, please forgive my foray into cosmic muffinhood, but someone posted in GD earlier the astrological signs of the candidates and three (Biden, Clinton and Richardson) are Scorpios. That had jumped out at me a few weeks ago while I was casually perusing candidate info on the NYTimes website because, I believe, it's fairly unusual. I'm a Scorpio and we are usually more comfortable being behind the scenes.

Although, I'm not a huge fan of Richardson or Clinton, I do recognize that a Scorpio putting themselves in the spotlight, is probably doing it out of a sincere drive to serve or accomplish some policy goal, rather than for the fame itself.

Perhaps Joe will continue to have as much, or more, positive influence without actually being up front.

One more disclaimer: I don't really put a great deal of stock in Astrology. But, I know enough about it to have these things occur to me.

36. Is that a promise?
I could'nt get on line last night and I felt so devastated and alone. I will see you here
a couple of times a week or so. I remember feeling devasted when Kerry did not win, but honestly, I feel such grief this time, have to keep fighting back tears,I can't sit and cry at my job.

My faith has taught me that most of the time things happen for a reason, and just maybe God
needs Joe to be our voice through the Senate Foreign Relations committe for a while longer;so I'm trying to hang on to that.:grouphug: :grouphug:
