I have a question I need some input re Edwards....

It is no secret JE was/is at the bottom of my list. However, the fact that the media and other corporate powers are totally ignoring him intrigues me. I mean, are they afraid of him? If they are so afraid that he's going to knock them on their ass, I'm sort of attracted to that. I hate that "he should be selling cars on Okeechobee Boulevard" personna I get, but still. If the powerful corporates hate him so much, and Biden wouldn't take any money from them, is there a correlation here? I know you guys know about these things so I'm just throwing this out there.

I did go to the Obama site and congratulate them. Very nice responses. They're a lot like us just not as handsome and beautiful.....sigh.

It's possible that Edwards, like Biden, isn't attracting the corp money because they feel he can't be bought, but who knows for sure?

Edwards hasn't convinced me that he COULD "knock them on their ass". Especially in the last few days, it seems every point another candidate brings up Edwards is going "oh, yeah, and I'm against that TOO".

If I thought he could really get in there and mow 'em down (like I know Joe could) - I'd try to overlook the big gap between what he says and what he does. But I don't think he's got the power.

Edwards is on the bottom of my list. He actually has less experience than Obama and I can't see him getting anything done. The rhetoric is great, but not realistic. For Obama's shortcomings, he could surround himself with knowledgeable people to aid and advise him. As with past presidency, Biden will be there also. He was a big influence on Bill Clinton.

sit back and wait for those "bumps in the road" that eventually make their appearance. I still have a headache from last night. It's like a bad hangover but I had no fun..Thanks guys for your input. It's 65 in Palm Beach and raining. How appropriate..

and we're having a horrible storm. Trees are blowing over and my daughter's fence blew over. It feels very surreal after last night.

Here in Ia we have a lake Okeeboji and I always call it Okeechobee. I spent one summer in Florida with my oldest brother and I never forgot Lake Okeechobee.

Remember that great song about washing cars on Santa Monica Boulevard. When we used to bar hop and that song came on the juke, we all just substituted Santa Monica for Okeechobee...Ah, those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.....sigh.
