1. For some reason I seem to think Bush DIDN'T sign it, so maybe they've done
some re-working?

in Biden's release
"President Bush vetoed the original Department of Defense Authorization report in December because of an unrelated issue that Congress subsequently addressed."

Not that I have ANY idea what the issue was?!

2. I can't get the page at your link to load. I get the header, but no copy. Could
you cut and past the statement? Does it say when the Senate voted on it again? It would have had to have been yesterday, right? All I saw was the Indian Health Care and Reid fucking around with FISA again. Un-confuse me!

7. Perhaps you need to move to Delaware
the upper part, just under PA is a beautiful part of the state. We're originally from southern Chester Co. PA, about 20 mi. from this area. (Where Joe lives.) We have considered buying in this area, but the last time we looked prices were astronomical. The area is very rolling, green hills, trees -- Montchanin, Greenville, near the DuPont Estate of Winterthur. In fact I am going to check it out online now.

Found a nice house, but damn, prices have gone through the roof. :(

8. Ha ha - I think my family would have me committed if I told them I wanted to move to DE because of
Biden.
They are already worried about my obsession with politics.

That is a beautiful house - a little bit out of my budget tho!

In Az you can still get a beautiful home - 2500 sq ft, pool, 4 bdrms, 3 car garage for about 325k
(maybe even less these days:crazy:

10. The coasts are crazy price-wise
This bubble hasn't busted yet. People still think their houses are worth insane amounts of money. Realtors don't help the matter either. :grr:

14. Yeah, this one was pretty much a given, but I understand the importance
of BEING there to vote -- that's their job and it makes a statement.

I'm still mad at Biden for not showing up for the FISA filibuster -- and I'm MAYBE close to forgiving him for not being there for the Mukasey vote.

Walk your talk, people -- but in all fairness, their vote wasn't needed on this.
