Hello Biden supporters. Your candidate has won me over!
I don't agree with everything Biden says or believes in, but he is the real article. Biden is the straight talker, and there is no doubt where he stands on the issues. Speaking of issues, Biden is the only "grown up" when it comes to Iraq and Iran. As far as experience goes, Biden has the entire "top tier" beat several times over.

While Kucinich remains my sentimental favorite, Biden is my pragmatic choice for President.

I congratulate each of you for having the wisdom to recognize Biden's virtues before I did.

1. Well hey, Indiana Green - we're thrilled you're here! You summed it up
beautifully how we all view Biden And I find the more I see and hear him, the more impressed and certain I become of my support! I hope it'll be the same for you.

We all really like Kucinich, too, by the way. :7

:hi:

2. I responded to one of your posts out in GD-P.
You were one of Biden's harshest critics - I can remember getting into it on more than one occassion with you.

That said - I am so happy to have you join us

4. I believe I replied to your post, pirhana
The only thing I regret is what I regretted in 2004. Indiana holds its primary in May, long after the nomination has been decided. It is not unusual to have a large number of primary votes go to someone other than the presumptive nominee. This is what happened four years ago.

I hope voters don't rush to judgment and begin to pay attention to some of those candidates the MSM is not fawning over.

7. That is what is so frustrating about being a Biden supporter.
He has alot of the skills we need right now, and the msm acts like he doesn't exist.

What worries me is that the majority of voters learn about the candidates from the msm. And if that is the case, they will vote for Hillary just because they will think there aren't other choices.

I am hoping that Iowa, NH and SC come through for him - just like they did for Kerry.

Why is Indiana so late?

9. We just adopted Daylight Savings Time last year, and it remains controversial
We Hoosiers don't like change for change's sake. Our primary has always been in May, when the weather is just starting to turn real nice, and we don't want to have it earlier when the weather really sucks.

11. I'm originally from Illinois
and January is a rough month to get people to the polls! You never know when there will be a blizzard or an ice storm.

12. I'm in Az -we still don't have daylight savings time.
But with us it's because of the heat.

Our primary is Feb 5th. We have a great Dem Governor - Janet Napolitano.
Here I am in McCain & Kyl country and have a gay, Dem Governor. It's like my moment of Zen ( to borrow Jon Stewart's phrase)

10. We try
Doesn't always come easy, but all that squabbling doesn't accomplish anything and its a waste of energy.

14. Welcome aboard!!
All are welcome. if you or anyone else would like to use a Biden header small enough to be within the size allowed here on DU. But large enough to make a statement in your signature line...
small white Biden banner=
or large blue header banner=

I figure all the ad space we can muster, is a good thing.

Again welcome!
 :hi:

actually put JoeBiden.com in her signature. That was clever.

19. Great IndianaGreen!!
We need all the help we can get to "find" anything Biden says or does on the campaign trail. Sometimes it feels real lonely here, ha.... Some Bidenites are really good at finding sites to go to, I'm not good at that sort of thing, getting the link is an issue for me.
