in alleged fear about what reps will do with it.

Dems are by nature a bunch of chickens. Doesn't Dr. Lakoff say something like that (in kinder terms, of course.) We're up against the bullies we never could deal with successfully, and we still can't; its human nature.

2. It doesn't matter who Obama picks

the republicans will go after him/her. We have to think in terms of what is best for the ticket and who could fill Obama's shoes if necessary. The republicans sure don't seem to care what WE think of their choices.

Folks just CAN'T let it go. Is it b/c he seems to be the MOST logical choice and their guy (or girl) doesn't? Or is it that THEY didn't think of Biden first so they look silly at the local Dem. gathering? Or are they worried that all the shit they spewed about Biden in the last two years will come back to haunt them if Obama chooses the guy?

13. In the long run,

the positives far out number the negatives. More and more people are saying great things about Biden lately.

I don't the critics though. I have strong dislikes for some politicians but I know better than to express them at DU as I will be stepping on toes. Got to believe it is intentional, that some people just want to start a fight.
