Thoughts?

http://www.spectator.org/dsp_article.asp?art_id=12173

I don't know what kind of publication this is, but I for one do not want to relive all of those scandals.
And - I agree with the author. Biden - and the rest - must do all they can to stop her.

1. Most of these charges have been publicized previously, and yet they
(the Clintons) seem to shrug them off and carry on. I think the Clintons are so powerful and have as-or-more powerful friends and resources at their disposal, anyone who tried to actually bring this to the fore and use it would be buried. The attempts have been made over the years to no avail.

Remember when Hillary used pressure to get what she wanted by threatening to withhold an interview. That's the way they work.

I think Joe would do best to just try to stop her by beating her on his own strengths.

2. you know....
I am starting to re-think my support in the past of Bill Clinton. I really, and my husband too, was and I thought still was a fan of him. But since she has been running for President, and I have been reading even more about them, I'm not so sure that I like him as much as I did and to be truthful, I have never been that sold on her.

Just last evening when on Tucker they were discussing her "eavesdropping" on Bill's opponents
they were all making light of it and I thought , if this was any other candidate on either side, all hell would be breaking loose. And then I thought, just like George Bush. I think it is very scary to realize that the CLINTONS are likely to be returning to the Whitehouse. We have had enough of this kind of stuff, but I do not know what we can do about it.:scared: :banghead:

3. We just keep on doing what we're doing now
and anything else we come up with.

I know what you mean about the Clintons. I still think Bill was a good president and he can still get to me, but I am definitely seeing him in a new light. Now I see him as Hillary's husband and it distorts my view of him. Before Hillary was running I'd go out of my way to watch Bill on any show. Now I purposely avoid watching him.

4. I saw a video once where Clinton - who was still president - learned that a
camera had been running while he was bitching someone out and it was caught on film. Well, ANOTHER camera was still filming unbeknownst to Clinton and recorded it as he VICIOUSLY attacked the camera person and surrounding people for allowing it to happen. It was a lot of goddamn yous and fuck yous and he was FURIOUS. Ever since I saw that, I never believed the persona he presented to the public.

5. I think the article is BS
This is coming from someone that thinks that, of course, Biden is the best. Next, Edwards has my attention. Obama is smart, one who exhibits true Democratic ideas, but not experience enough for these dreadful times.

But all the Crap "insinuated" in this article about the Clintons are comments that came from the "sour grapes" era of the repubs when Clinton was able to clean up the Reagan/Bush era.

That $100,000 profit from a $1,000 investment was not shocking. The Whitewater deal was a typical deal many of my less than clever friends entered into, mostly the oil business, but many in the land and property business that came crashing down during Reagan/Bush era. Remember Banks crashing? Bush's kid made a killing in the loan business, remember Silverado Savings and loans? Hell, the Clintons' deals were almost embarrassing in that they never made them money except the cattle deal, $100,000. The media had a field day over their campaign contributions yet Never dug into the repubs campaigns.

Gotta admit the pardons were stupid. Course Bush pardoning Scooter is not worth mentioning by the powers that be. Scooter only lied for his boss who was lying about going to WAR.... outed an undercover CIA agent....

That publication probably has never written a Hit Piece about the Bush era. There are volumes written now on how screwed up George W is and how no one knows how long or difficult it will be to fix America.

So, definitely not a H. Clinton fan but that article is trash talk. Matter of fact I don't think Hillary is in Bill's league. Carter is making me proud now days.

I have no illusions that Bill was some super president but he damn sure was better than any we had had since Kennedy. How sad is that. I am sick of the system/media running our country. This is going to be tricky.....

6. Sorry for the rant
I voted for some of those repubs and get hostile when I realize how I was snookered or stupid.

8. With her, I just worry that all of that is going to be dished out again if she wins the nomination.
And that's what worries me, having to live through all of it again. You know the RW will be ready to bring it all up again.
Especially since they are so desperate.

Like Biden said, there were alot of great times during the Clinton administration, but there were also bad times.
