5. I think this is kind of a brilliant tactic on Obama's part.

Not only does the campaign get tons of cell numbers, but can you imagine, when the word goes out, people all across the country will be saying to the people they're with --"oh, wait a minute, I have a text message" and stopping to read it.

I received my e-mail message a couple of hours after someone posted about theirs here, so they must go out in waves. WAVES of people across the country. I think that's brilliant.

I think I'll be disappointed if it's not Joe, even if I really like who Obama picks. Know what I mean?

I'm taking this story to mean that Obama has already picked his VP. Right now with more international news at the forefront, I think someone like Biden would be the best pick.
