I just watched the clip of Kaine on Face the Nation --

He sure seems like a nice guy, but :boring:.

Part of the reason I started leaning toward Joe during the debates is that he ANSWERED the QUESTIONS. The others just used the question as an opportunity to lay out more platitudes and try to get their message out. Almost automatic -- if you hear the word "X' in a question, answer with the following.... It really almost had that feel. Obama, Clinton and Edwards were the worst in this, IMO -- and Dennis was kind of guilty of it too. Joe, Dodd, Richardson, and, God love him, Gravel - actually responded.

The first question out of the box with Kaine, he's giving the "proper Democratic response". Joe would have answered.

I don't think Kaine's got the "IT" to make a difference on the ticket.

I remember how I became convinced that only Joe, of all the candidates, had what it took to win in November. I'm beginning to feel that way about him being VP, too. Although I think Clark would be good, too. Brian Schweitzer brings a different feel, but I think he could entice voters, too.

If one of these guys (preferably Joe) doesn't get the nod, I'll really be concerned about out chances in November. :(

Isn't Kaine anti-choice or do I have him confused with someone else in the dem party? If he is anti-choice & Obama selects him, I cannot guarantee I will vote for them in November.
