They would be standing around 55 gallon barrels with a fire to keep warm & a TV perched on a box next to it. The networks were constantly doing polls to see which network was up in ratings.

Did you ever see "The Running Man" with Arnold? It was sort of similar. One of Arnold's best movies, imo. I usually like books much better than the movie, and this movie was quite different from the book, but it was still done very well. The interactions between Arnold & Richard Dawson were great!
