Um... I just heard on a radio sho
that there is buzz that Biden might be replaced. That the pundits are discussing it. Have you guys heard anything about this?

I don't for a moment think that Obama would do that - he's "stuck" with the person if he gets elected, and I don't think that there's anyone he would want more than Joe.

1. What show?
I have heard nothing from any credible source, just kicked around on a couple of blog comments. Some saying his Hillary statement was a "testing" of the waters to back out. I think Obama would be nuts to replace Biden now, the media would go ape shit about panic etc. etc.

However, if Palin isn't demolished in the debate, I'll be worried. I just don't get this Palin stuff, she is a nut case and the media thinks she is the second coming (replaced Obama she did). I'm truly frightened for the future of my kids.

2. I really doubt it....

I think people are throwing it out there and hoping it sticks. I wouldn't be surprised if repukes started the rumor. Remember last night, Obama said to David Letterman that he was happy to have Joe--or something to that effect.

I think it's bullshit. This probably stems from that comment Biden made about Hillary being a better choice....it's just coming out diferent.

On edit; I just googled it, and look at the page, this is exactly where it's coming from;

4. Look, friends - all Joe was saying is what he has been telling us he said all along
until he was picked. Namely, that he was satisfied in his Senate role, and that he told Barack all along that he thought others would be a better choice, but that he'd do whatever Barack asked him to. He's said that consistently since he pulled out of the Big Race. This is not new, nor does it have any more meaning now than when he said it all spring and summer. He's just being truthful, and consistent in the truth. There is no reason under the stars that replacing him would bring anything to Barack's campaign in the next 50 days; it can only result in a meltdown. This is not in any way a rational thought that would be maintained by the DNC or the Obama campaign. Hey, these are the smartest two mother fuckers in the room! Not the fucking dumbest.

5. This has to be fucking bullshit.
Quite frankly, if anyone needs to be shaken up it's Barack! He needs to kick some ass.

6. Yeah, I know it's bullshit -- and I just heard it in passing when I was
getting out of my car. There's no way that Obama would replace Joe - but I was just wondering if there was that buzz.

And I wish he wouldn't have said that about Hillary. Everything he said was cool until he got to the "she would probably be better than me" part - or whatever it is. Those of us who know Joe know he was just singing her praises, and he believes what he says, but other people are thinking it's an admission from him that he feels he's not qualified enough.

Oh well, this too shall pass. :)

7. I call bullshit
We are dealing with people who graduated from the school of "if you repeat a lie often enough, people begin to think it's true"

Bastards.

8. Obama/Biden should appear together now and then.
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 02:17 PM by murbley40
I do not believe it, Joe and Jill just today released 10years of tax returns and if this were true they would have held off because he would not need to do that. And another thing all this talk of him not doing his job does not help. I thought Obama supporters were loyal to a fault, what the hell is the matter with everybody? If we were as smart as they are about these things we would either be running thier campaigns or they would be running ours!

Sorry, but it is not O&joe that scare me, it'd the people on this forum.

To the Bidenites I would say, you all know Joe, you know that he never attacks anyone personally.
For his sake I wish he had not accepted.

9. My god - this shit is everywhere.
I was over at HuffPo and there was an op-ed over there about how Biden has only been 1/2 of a candidate and responses were that Biden should step aside.

What's going on here, folks?

Do you think the Obama camp muzzled Joe?

Whatever it is, the Obama camp needs to figure out a way - and fast - to get the attention back to them.

10. I think the problem is
the media isn't covering Biden lately. Everything is about Sarah. It isn't that Joe isn't doing his job, he just isn't getting the press.
