Nobody is paying any attention to me, so you guys have to read this and give
me your opinion.

This is a response to the "coal" flap that's currently got people buzzing. I think my suggestion/approach is BRILLIANT. You guys (and only you guys) can disagree with me, and I'll still love you with all my heart. :grouphug:

What I'd like to see is for Biden to come out and explain these statements that are being questioned and jumped on.

Rather than having the campaign rush to "proclaim Obama's support", which always sounds like an ooooops cover up, let Biden address it himself. If he misspoke, he's a big boy and can take responsibility for what he said. Clear the air. Tell the truth. Stop playing the game, in this instance.

1. I agree!
I know Joe was referring to clean vs dirty coal technology. China is building huge dirty coal plants, in numbers that are astonishing (I know I saw a very detailed map of the existing plants + new planned plants at a conference this summer, scary stuff).

One problem is will the MSM carry his defense? Perhaps he will address this in the debate.

2. Joe has always supported exploring clean coal technology....
we all know it.

i'd like to see him address this one, and the FDR one, because the media would look like the ASSES that they are.

3. I totally agree.
Biden stated his position, not the position of Obama.
But, you know what? Biden has a higher rating from environmental groups than Obama.
Biden's positions on the environment are one of the reasons that I am a proud Bidenite.

In my little opinion, it doesn't matter what the VP's position is on an issue.
Don't Mc and Palin disagree on abortion? Mc says okay for rape and incest. Moosemoma says no abortion unless the life of the mom is at risk.
Now that is a huge deal to the rethugs.
