NYT small bit on Bidens' move

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/07/us/politics/07families.html?ref=politics

...Now he and his second wife, Jill Jacobs Biden, face another decision. The Bidens will move into the vice president’s residence on the grounds of the Naval Observatory in Washington when he takes office in January. But Mr. Biden said this week that decisions about Dr. Biden’s career as a college professor and where his 91-year-old mother, Jean Finnegan Biden, will live had not yet been settled.

With the impending move into public housing, one issue has been settled in the Obama and Biden households — both are getting dogs. They may need them.

-------
Whole article is about choices of whether to move family to D.C. And what the heck is up with Heather Wilson leaving two children under 5 back home?!?!

before the Biden's move into it.
I do not trust Cheney at all!

NOT a house; certainly not a home.

But we could visit, that is, those who live in DC!

7. I think there's room for us -

I read that it's on a lake.

Not too shabby! Except, of course, for the current residents.
Ew. Ew. Ew.

Do you think at least they will get a diffent bed? I cannot imagine sleeping in the same bed that Cheney slept in, or taking a shower in the same shower - the toilet.... ew.
Same with Obama - the same shower that Bush used. ew. My skin is crawling at the thought.

I actually saw her on TV today and thought "Shit! I thought I wouldn't have to hear that voice again." At least (knock on wood) I haven't seen Nancy Pfotwhatever.

13. Here's the scoop on her, thanks to Wikipedia.
Heather A. Wilson (born December 30, 1960), is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives representing New Mexico's 1st congressional district from 1998 to 2008. She is the second female veteran to be elected to Congress.<1> Much of Wilson's legislative focus has been on national security issues. She opted not to run for re-election in 2008 and sought the U.S. Senate seat of retiring senator Pete Domenici but finished second in the Republican primary to Congressman Steve Pearce.

So - why are we still subjected to her on national tv?
Probably for the same reason Tweety still has DeLay on.

17. I thought they already had that network - Fox!
Actually I had fox on for awhile today because msnbc was talking non-stop about Palin, and I needed a Palin break.

They really had nothing bad to say about Obama. I was shocked. One of their commentators was saying that if Obama really cared about the economy he would name who he was going to pick for his cabinet. But that was it. They complimented him on his response to the question about the letter from Ahmidajad (spelling :P). They said they were waiting to see how he handles things.
They also talked about Lieberman and how the Repugs are trying to get him to come over to their side, but didn't bash Reid for what he did. hmmmm. Then again, I was listening to Shep Smith, not O'reilly or Hannity...that might have been a whole different story.

23. Oh, I see
I didn't realize she was trying for a senate seat. Ha, ha! Even her own party rejected her.

I suppose it IS like DeLay showing up on Hardball - that still blows my mind, what the hell. I think Wilson is trying to stay visible so she can keep her options open in DC. Probably doesn't want to fade away in New Mexico. Can't imagine who would want her though.
