1. Who knew?
I mean, I always knew he was a handsome man, but never knew just how good looking he is.

Obama/Biden - yeah baby!!!

2. Damn
I'm not easily impressed, but I had no idea either.

They are going to be so good for the country and lots of guys are going to be rushing off to the gym. Two guys have already made a comment to that effect at the thread! I love it.

Its been my experience that women tend to take better care of themselves than their mates.

5. I'm still waiting for Jill's secrets.
Washington DC is definitely going to be looking good over the next 8 years :)

6. Magazines must be in heaven right now
So many opportunities for stories and photos. People love this kind of stuff.

3. It's more than just being fit, though.
Boosh was fit, but . . . retch! Zero appeal. ZERO!

I admire that Biden has kept in shape. I've found it gets harder & harder to maintain weight as I get older. The weight I was horrified at when I was 30 years old, I would love to be that right now!

4. True
As a woman, I find Bush repulsive. Even at his best physical shape, I don't find him attractive at all.

I like Joe's arms, they're very masculine to me.

8. Bush is repulsive personality wise, its hard to look at him as being attractive
although if I were being really truly objective he is not a bad looking man. Don't get me started on Joe's arms...I want summer to come soon again and he HAS to wear short sleeves again.

9. Bush could be attractive
if you didn't know what he was like, if he didn't open his mouth, if didn't make any physical moves (like WALKING, what a clod), and if he did make any facial expressions.

Oh and that horrible girlish giggle, yuck!

7. The first time I saw him at the '04 Dem convention, I thought to myself...
"My, my that's a handsome man." Then he opened his mouth and I was wowed by his speech. I thought, "I'm looking at a future President." I wondered if it would be in my lifetime...LOL...it never occurred to me it would be so soon.

Yup, we have one fine looking and smart, smart, smart team moving in, and what a pleasure it will be to have them at the helm.

If I never have to look at that lying weasel's criminal mug again, it will be too soon. Well maybe it would be ok to look at him locked up along with the rest of his crew. I could probably look at that picture with a good degree of satisfaction.

10. Obama grew on me
I didn't find him terribly attractive back then, but he doesn't look as good in a suit as he does in swim trunks! And that gorgeous smile too.

Okay, I've got to stop this! Maybe a drink will help.

11. I'm a big eye person...
and his eyes reflect intelligence, wit, and a good heart.

Give me a pair of open, interesting eyes, and I can gaze forever. When I first meet someone, that is the first thing I look at. I love all the different colors, shadings, and variations of shape and size in peoples' eyes.

The phrase, the eyes are the mirror to the soul, rings real true for me. If I'm talking to someone and they have the "door" shut, it makes me uncomfortable. It's not really the shape or color of the eye, that I find so appealing, it's if they let you in. I know so many people who have un extraordinary eyes, not really unique in color or shape, but what they express with them by letting their inner selves radiate out with those "ordinary" eyes, makes them beautiful. A person can have unbelievably beautiful eyes in color, etc., and other facial features to match, but if the eye-door is closed, their physical beauty is only a mask, a pretty picture to look at, but not one to hang on your wall to appreciate the intricacies, depth, and details the artist poured their heart into to create.

Biden has eyes like that. He does, indeed wear his heart on his sleeve, but it shines through his gorgeous baby blues, too. I'm sure Jill has no trouble knowing exactly when he's being untruthful or evasive. I would imagine he'd have a real hard time putting up an eye wall, particularly around someone he cared deeply about or highly respected.

I can't imagine living in a culture where eye contact is considered rude or inappropriate. I think I'd have a hard time with that. Probably be a community reject.

The rest of him is not so bad either...(ummm...is it too early for a cocktail?), and yes, that smile can light up a room. And Biden...yup, our cupcake has the complete package!

13. You know what drives me nuts?
People who won't take off their sunglasses while talking to you even indoors. In most cases I think it is blatantly deliberate, they want to hide behind their masks or they are intentionally being rude. There is a power play going on.

Then there are those who won't make eye contact and if they're not painfully shy, they are deceptive.

You are right about Obama. His eyes are very clear and open, AND they smile! Nixon's eyes didn't smile while his mouth did and it was really creepy.

14. My past principal used to wear the shades.
We all knew to avoid her when she came in with those on. It meant "back off", I've got a headache or something, and I don't want to be messed with! It was the only time she was ever crabby.
