Biden going overseas AGAIN!
Tell me, have other VPs traveled abroad as much as Joe? Or is he just the most talented, wonderful, handsome VP we've ever had?

Biden to Reassure Allies on Trip to Eastern Europe
By Scott Wilson and Michael A. Fletcher
Vice President Biden will travel to Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic this month on a mission that appears in part designed to reassure worried allies of U.S. resolve.

Biden's four-day trip, scheduled to begin Oct. 20, will take the first high-level U.S. delegation to those countries since President Obama announced last month that he would not proceed with an anti-ballistic missile shield in Eastern Europe.

2. Yeah, I agree with you guys -- nobody has traveled as extensively
as Joe. I bet Obama is SO glad Joe's his VP. He's THE best person to do this.

3. Plus, he's been involved in so many diverse issues
Cheney was the most powerful VP we've ever had, but Joe will be the most effective. This is really the way it should be in this day and age. A U.S. president today needs a strong and competent VP.

4. Yeah -- Cheney skulked around behind the scenes and essentially told
Bush what to do (except for that ONE time when Bush stood up to him -- was it about military in our cities?). Joe and O seem to be a team, and that's how it should be. They should ALWAYS be a team, you need more than one person in charge of everything...

5. And then there was the time that Bush wouldn't
pardon Libby. There were a few times Bush crossed Cheney.

I've felt for a long time that the job of president is too much for one person and a strong VP can take a lot of pressure off. Many countries have both a president and a prime minister.

10. I think Joe is having the time of his life
Obama really knows how to use Joe wisely. No one can handle foreign leaders like Joe can. If he can't "soothe" them, no one can.
